Visiting Bethel Baptist Church

Your first visit to Bethel Baptist will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable. You will experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and at home! Here are a few answers to your questions and what you might expect on your first visit.

When are your services?

Our main worship service is at 11:00 AM.

Worship is the act of loving and responding to God! Through the heart-warming, conservative music and the clear, Bible teaching and preaching in our services, your heart will be inspired to love and to respond to God. Each week, families are strengthened, encouraged, and drawn closer to Him through these special times together. Each service is carefully planned and prayed over so that God may work in your life!

Where is Bethel Baptist Church located?

Our campus is located on 1361 E. Carson St., Carson, CA 90745

What can I expect?

As you approach the building, one of our greeters will meet you and direct you to the right classes and services. They can also answer other questions you might have. Adults attend our worship service where they enjoy the beautiful and inspiring music from our ensembles and soloists. The music is always followed by a clear, helpful, amd challenging Bible message from our pastor or a guest speaker.

Also, there are Bible classes for all ages at 10:0 am. These classes are held on a smaller group setting where you are invited to meet people, enjoy some coffee and treats, and receive a practical Bible lesson applicable to you. The best way to get to know people at Bethel Baptist Church is to visit one of these classes.

What about my kids?

Starting with loving nurseries, there is something special for every age child. At every service there are safe, clean, and highly staffed nurseries for children five year old and under. For children four years old through sixth grade there are fun, friendly, and Bible-centered classes. These classes are staffed with trained, friendly, and well-qualified teachers and helpers who will make church exciting and memorable for your child.

We have greeters and ushers located all around the building who would like to help you find the appropriate nurseries, classes, and services for every person in your family. Our greeters and ushers are located all around around campus as well as in the lobby of the main worship center and will gladly help direct and even escort you to the right place. Children classes are divided into the following categories: Nurseries & Toddlers, K4–2nd grade, and 3rd-6th grade. We also have classes for Teenagers 7th-12th grade.

Am I expected to give in the offering?

No. We don't invite you to Bethel Baptist Church for your offering. We want our service to be a gift to you. We hope you will find in this place a warm family spirit, truth from God's Word, and a place where you can grow in God's grace. Please don't feel any obligation to participate in the offering as a guest.

How should I dress?

There is not a dress code at Bethel Baptist Church for members or guests. Our ministry leaders and many of our church family dress in more traditional “Sunday” dress; however, our main goal is that you would feel welcome and comfortable on your visit here at Bethel!
